400-year-old idols of Hindu deities unearthed in Haryana

Three ancient metal idols, possibly 400 years old, were discovered during house construction in Haryana's Baghanki village. The owner initially tried to hide the find but was reported to police. The idols, including representations of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, were handed over to Archaeology Department. Villagers wanted a temple, but officials insisted the idols be preserved in a museum.
